Chaturdashi of ShuklaPaksha of Bhadrapada month is called Anant Chaturdashi.
Anant Chaturdashi is a festival observed and celebrated by Jains and Hindus.
।अनंन्तसागरमहासमुद्रेमग्नान्समभ्युद्धरवासुदेव।
॥अनंतरूपेविनियोजितात्माह्यनन्तरूपायनमोनमस्ते॥
STORY OF ANANT CHATURDASHI:
In the Satyuga there was a sage named Sumantu. His daughter Sheela was extremely gentle as per her name. Sumantu Muni married that girl to Kaundinya Muni. Kaundinya Muni was returning home from her in-laws house with her wife Sheela, while on the way, some women were seen worshiping the eternal God on the banks of the river.
Knowing the importance of the eternal fast, Sheela worshiped the infinite God with those women and tied the eternal sutra. As a result, in a few days his house was full of money.

IMPORTANCE ANANT CHATURDASHI:
On this day, people tied Anantasutra, who protects from the troubles, is worshiped by worshiping the eternal God.
It is said that when the Pandavas were suffering in the forest after losing all their treasury in gambling, Lord Krishna advised them to fast for eternal life. Dharmaraja Yudhishthira, along with his brothers and Draupadi, performed this fast with complete law and did Anantasutradhan. The Pandavas were freed from all the crises due to the effect of Anant Chaturdashi fast.
14 KNOTS OF ANANT SYMBOLIZES
Anant Swaroop is worshiped on Anant Chaturdashi, while the knots in the Anant Sutra symbolize the 14 lokas created by fourteen Lord Vishnu. This sutra is believed to protect man from every crisis. If Hari is infinite, then the 14 knots symbolize the 14 worlds generated by Hari. Vishnu is believed to have created fourteen worlds in the beginning of creation. Those whose names are as follows-
