PITRESHWAR HANUMAN DHAM, INDORE, MADHYA PRADESH(INDIA): HISTORY AND MYTHS OF THE WORLD’S TALLEST STATUE OF LORD HANUMAN
PITRESHWAR HANUMAN DHAM (श्री पितरेश्वर हनुमान धाम):
“Mahavir Hanuman Temple” built on “Pitru Parvat” is a very beautiful and magnificent temple of “Bajrangbali (बजरंगबली)” which is in Indore, Madhya Pradesh (India).
STATUES OF Lord Hanuman (हनुमान स्वामी की प्रतिमाएं):
Here two statues of Hanuman Swami are enshrined:
- Poojaniya Hanuman (Mata Anjani With Lord Hanuman)
- Darshaniya Hanuman (Tallest Sitting Statue of Lord Hanuman)
Both have their own special significance.
POOJANIYA HANUMAN (पूजनीय हनुमान):
In the “Poojaniya statue” (पूजनीय हनुमान), “Mother Anjani” (माता अंजनी) has taken her “Son Hanuman” in the Dock.
It is said that “Hanuman ji” rests in the dock of “Mata Anjani” in the night.
DARSHANIYA HANUMAN(दर्शनीय हनुमान):
This statue is the “Largest Sitting Statue of Hanuman in the world”.
It is the Highest “Statue of Ashtadhatu in the world”.
The Weight of this statue is 108 tons, its Width is 54 feet and the Height of this statue is 41 feet.
In this statue, “Hanuman Swami” is Absorbed in the hymn of “Lord Shri Ram”.
PITRESHWAR HANUMAN STATUE (श्री पितरेश्वर हनुमान जी की विशाल प्रतिमा):
The statue faces South-West according to Vastu.
There is a 14-feet umbrella (छत्र) above the statue, on which “Ram’s name has been inscribed 108 times”.
Next to the statue is the “45 feet long Hanuman Swamy’s mace (गदा)”.
In front of the statue, “Ramayana made of Panchadhatu” of 9/18 has been constructed.
A “14 feet high platform” is built on the ground on which a huge statue of “Shri Pitreshwar Hanuman Ji” is installed.
Sculptor Prabhat Roy (मूर्तिकार प्रभात रॉय):
The STATUE was completed by “Sculptor Prabhat Roy” of Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh in 7 years by the 125 Artisans.
The statue was brought from Gwalior in 264 parts, which took the artisans 3 years to connect.
Pritreshwar Hanuman Swami’s PRAN-PRATISHTH (प्राण प्रतिष्ठा):
The STATUE of Shri Pitreshwar Hanuman was awakened with his life.
The program of Pran Pratishtha ( प्राण प्रतिष्ठा) started from 14 February till 3 March.
AtiRudra MahaYagya (अतिरुद्र महायज्ञ):
“AtiRudra Mahayagya” (अतिरुद्र महायज्ञ) was organized in connection with Swami Chinmayanand Ji of Vidyadham.
This Mahayagya concluded with the event of a “city meal” (नगर भोजन) after running for 11 days.
CITY MEAL (नगर भोजन):
“City Meal Event” was organized from 5 pm on March 3, 2020
The event was organized from Ganapati crossroads to Sri Pitreswar Hanuman Dham.
14 lakh people ate food in this city meal event, which is a record.
HISTORY OF SHREE PITRESHWAR HANUMAN DHAM (मान्यता और इतिहास):
It is said that when “Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya”(BJP LEADER) was the Mayor of Indore in 2000, he sought to establish “Sri Pitreswar Hanuman Dham on Pitru Parvat” for the development of the city, until the temple was built and he did not receive food. will do
On March 3, 2020, after 20 years, he received food after the Praan Pratistha of Shri Pitreshwar Hanuman.
PRACHIN LORD SHIVA TEMPLE (प्राचीन शिव मंदिर):
There is an “Ancient Shiva Temple (प्राचीन शिव मंदिर)” near Sri Pitreshwar Hanuman Dham which is famous as the “Siddha Bhairav Temple (सिद्ध भैरव मंदिर)”.
It is believed about this temple that “Bhairav” (भैरव) originated from the Blood of Shiva.
Sri Pithareshwar Hanuman Dham cannot be completed without the restoration of this temple.
PITRA PARVAT (पितृ पर्वत): WHY DO CALL THIS “PITRA PARAVAT”?:
This mountain is known as “Dev Dharam Tekri” (देव धरम टेकरी).
Planting of trees started in memory of his ancestors 12 years ago
Every year AT “Pitra Amavasya” (पितृ अमावस्या) plantation programme starts after the Rainy Season.
On every tree, the names of the planters and their ancestors are inscribed.
More than one lakh saplings have been planted here in the memory of Ancestors.
Paritala Anjaneya Temple (परीतला आंजनेय मंदिर):
The “Largest Standing Statue of Hanuman Swami” is installed in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh (India).
This statue is 135 feet high and it is famous as the “Paritala Anjaneya Temple”(परीतला आंजनेय मंदिर).
Largest statue of Bajrangbali (बजरंगबली की सबसे बड़ी प्रतिमा):
The Largest statue of Hanuman Swami is being constructed in Narasanpet, Andhra Pradesh (India).
Its height will be 176 feet
